Hey there! I’m Jess, a Content and Copywriter from Fort Worth, Texas.
I have lived in Texas my entire life, mostly the Fort Worth area. I have a BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University – Gig ‘Em! – with a minor in Spanish.
I’m a nanny who writes—and yes, that means I’ve personally survived the trenches of potty training, picky eaters, and being an emotional support person for tiny people with big feelings. I create fun, relatable, and research-backed content for baby, toddler, and kids’ brands that want to connect with real families. If it’s used by kids, cleaned up by adults, and talked about online, I know how to write about it in a way that feels genuine, playful, and trustworthy.
My degree coupled with the hours I have spent in writing-intensive and copy courses round out my writing abilities and allow me to adapt to different brands, environments, and styles.
Why do I share all of this with you?
My experience has given me the necessary skills to create content that serves your needs quickly and simply. My psychology background helps me level with people and their wants and needs while my writing history allows me to put that to paper.
Consistently creating fun, quality, search-optimized content that inspires and educates your readers inevitably increases conversion rates and, ultimately, builds trust with potential lifelong customers.

Passions and Interests
My interests include writing – obviously. Big fan of the Oxford comma over here! I started writing as a child through silly short stories and have thoroughly enjoyed many different types of writing ever since. Whether it be my own creative writing or a more serious assignment on a tight timeline, I love the process of putting new ideas to paper and tying it all together in an organized but entertaining way.
I also enjoy reading, exploring the psychology of how the mind works and why we do what we do, aviation, and studying new languages. After taking 8 years of classes, Spanish is my favorite. I would love to be able to travel to some Spanish-speaking countries and become fluent someday!
My love of reading started young with the Boxcar Children series (IYKYK), and I ended up reading everything I could get my hands on, especially mysteries or sci-fi/fantasy novels. I stopped for a while after college due to burnout, but thankfully, a few years ago, I picked it back up again and am very happy I did! My recent favorite read is the Shadow and Bone series by Leigh Bardugo.
I’m also passionate about learning new ways to organize and keep a home clean. Some say that a cluttered desk leads to a cluttered mind, and I couldn’t agree more. Being a big fan of The Home Edit and other great organizers, I enjoy translating that into my writing and creating insightful content to help others clear their minds and their homes.
